50 Cent Wants To Help Africa
Rapper 50 Cent has unofficially announced plans to provide some assistance to poverty-stricken areas of Africa. The Queens native posted his intentions on his Twitter account. 50 has lofty goals in respects to the Motherland.
“I want to impact peoples lives more. I created a new goal for my self, I want to feed a billion people in africa over the next 5 years,” 50 tweeted. “Every one who thinks my goal is good put #SK at the end of your tweets that’s all the support I need right now.”

Bruno Mars Discusses Drug Charge
Singer/songwriter Bruno Mars opened up about his 2010 cocaine charge and the bad publicity that came with it. Mars says the incident cast a dark shadow over his career and he doesn’t want it to be a defining moment for him.
“It’s something that I wish would go away,” Mars said. “It’s a cloud that constantly follows me no matter how many achievements. I’d like to move on. To show that I’m here for my music. Not to be in a tabloid.”

Jill Scott opened about how sprung she used to be on good sex. The soul singer admitted that she would get preoccupied on the freaky-dekey and ignored toxic elements in past relationships.
“Where you get caught up in the whole sexuality of your relationship but it’s not going anywhere… Just somebody giving you the goods but not necessarily giving you the rest–or not expecting the rest from them.”

Ameriie Talks New Album
R&B singer Ameriie shared some details about her upcoming album Cymatika Vol. 1 and how her recent marriage has shaped her approach and creative outlook. She reveals that she’s in a completely different state of mind this time around.
“This particular album is different as far as the subject matter,” Ameriie says. “I kind of went in a place I didn’t go before. Relationships are very important to talk about but I also want to go a little deeper in to what it is that makes us human and what we have in common. Not just only from a romantic aspect, but what it is that makes us tick. I consider myself to be a very spiritual person. I love science, I love quantum physics and metaphysics. I just wanted to put that into my music.”
“You can figure out how to include anything in music, you just [have] to make sure it sounds good,” she continued. “I don’t like to be too preachy, so a lot of the stuff is subliminal or it has such a driving beat so that if you don’t want to hear the message, you don’t have to. You’ll either recognize what it is immediately because you’re into the same thing or you want to investigate it further.”
